Gotta go change my clothes and move the car. When I got stuff last night we thought the thing wasn't coming here, so I parked under the tree. Under any tree, in a hurricane, is an unhappy place.
My mother is filling the bathtub and mumbling about water pressure. I am finding it hard to be anything other than irked. Not again.

I moved the car. It's in the OMGBIGSPIDER carport now, which is not exactly pleasing but hopefully it won't droop down and scratch what's left of my finish all to hell like a tree would. And with my luck, the carport will collapse and the tree will stand there and laugh.
Ryan told me, yesterday, to (I quote) "call tomorrow and make sure we're all still alive" so I did that: their internet is down, and he says it's kinda scary there. Just waiting for the other tree to drop, not figuratively. They have a lot of trees there, too.
Celerity is doing a JeanneCam thing with an X10 mounted to a rafter outdoors: here. The image refreshes every sixty seconds but you have to reload the page. If you hit it at the right time, you'll see him scampering about outside like I did!
